13th Bengaluru International Film Festival to begin from March 3

Bangalore: The 13th Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFF) will be held from March 3. A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the BIFF Organizing Committee chaired by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Bommai said on Thursday that the film festival will be 10-day.

Bommai said that BIFF has got the recognition of Federation of International Film Producers Association. It is a matter of pride that BIFF is one of the 45 international film festivals of global scale.

Bommai said Kannada films have brought fame in many countries on several occasions. The best Kannada films will be screened at the International Film Festival. BIFF will become a model for other film festivals.

He said that social message should be given through the film festival.

The Chief Minister also released the logo of BIFF on the occasion.

Horticulture Minister Muniratna, Karnataka Chalachitra Academy President Sunil Puranik and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
