Paying tribute to India’s great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday unveiled his hologram statue at India Gate. Since then there is a lot of discussion about it in the country. Sculptor Advaita Gadnayak is building this statue of Subhash Chandra Bose. Regarding this statue of Subhash Chandra Bose, now famous writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar has made a tweet in which he has given his opinion about this statue.

Javed Akhtar wrote in his tweet, ‘The idea of Netaji’s statue is good but the choice about the statue is not right. Traffic will continue to move around this statue throughout the day and the pose of the statue will be saluting. It is not according to his reputation. In the statue, he would either be sitting or waving his hand in the air as if shouting some slogan. Reactions of social media users are coming on this tweet of Javed Akhtar. Some users say that what Javed Akhtar is saying is correct and the statue should be changed.
The dimensions of the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate will be 28 feet by 6 feet. Unveiling the hologram statue of Subhas Chandra Bose, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that after independence the history of great personalities has been ignored, but decades after independence, now his government is correcting these mistakes. Paying tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that soon a huge granite statue of Netaji would be replaced by this hologram statue.
