Mumbai: Actress Sayani Gupta has made her mark in Bollywood as well as in the web space with films like Margarita with a Straw, Fan, Jolly LLB 2, Article 15 and Axon.

She says that even though people recognize her as an actress in public places, it’s fun to look weird but curious to her.

The actress recently appeared in a short film titled Shameless with co-actor Hussain Dalal.

In a conversation with IANS, Sayani shared an incident where she was asked how she feels about being called a semi-popular actress.

Sayani said, “I think unless you are Shah Rukh Khan or a superstar of his level, many actors must have faced such questions. It is a bit strange, where people in public places like cafes, restaurants etc come to us and say, I have seen you somewhere.. and then there is a moment of silence as something goes on in their mind (laughs) ! Sometimes you even have the responsibility of telling them where they saw you! It’s funny, but the truth.
