The Astronaut and His Parrot starring Ali Fazal set to premiere

Los Angeles: Actor Ali Fazal starrer short film The Astronaut and His Parrot, directed by Aarti Kadav, is all set to have its North American premiere at Fantasia Fest.
The festival is recognized as the world’s leading genre specific film festival and will also screen at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival.
On this Ali says, it is always good to be a part of something chosen at such prestigious functions. To get the opportunity to showcase our film at the Fantasia Film Festival is empowering as well as some really cool content from around the world.
The actor said, “We don’t have any director to pioneer the science-fiction genre in India. Aarti Kadav is a stormy liquor.
The film is said to be about a space explorer who is swept away in a vacuum due to an accident and his oxygen supply is rapidly depleting. In his final moments in space, he desperately tries to send a message to his daughter through signals but to no avail.
Ali will next be seen in Mizarpur 3 alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Rasika Duggal.
