New Delhi:

Aamir Khan starrer film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been one of the most talked about films of 2022. But the box office collection of the film has proved that no star power can save a film if the audience does not agree. The Hindi remake of the Hollywood classic film ‘The Forest Gump’, where the film could not even collect Rs 60 crore at the domestic box office, on the other hand is also struggling for its OTT release.

Actually, now it is heard that Aamir Khan’s film is performing well in the international market. According to a media report, Aamir’s film has earned more than ‘Gangubai Kathiavadi’, ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ on the international front. The film’s gross collection in the international market has exceeded Rs 59.89 crore.

Let us tell you that Lal Singh Chaddha was released in theaters on August 11, and Aamir was planning to release the film on OTT platform only after six months. But the fate of the film has changed that plan. The publication had earlier reported that some OTT platforms had backed out of releasing the film after the film’s disappointing collections on the domestic front, but now things seem to be back on track as it now seems that ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ will be released. It is being well liked by the international audience. Apart from this, Aamir and his team were negotiating a figure of Rs 125 crore for the film, but the deal has closed at a lucrative amount. The six-month release window has also been shortened to just eight weeks, and now Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is all set to hit OTT platforms.
