New Delhi:
Ayan Mukerji has given one of the most expensive projects to Indian cinema in the form of ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’. Made on a big budget of over 400 crores, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in lead roles. But the fans were most excited for the cameo made by Shah Rukh Khan, and now his fans want to see his Brahmastra character again in a new way.
Let us tell you that Shahrukh was only a part of Brahmastra for a short time. He played the character of a scientist named ‘Mohan Bhargava’ who has a Vanarastra. His fans were stunned by his short but powerful scene, and now SRK’s followers are demanding a spin-off of his character. Also, his fans have started sharing online petitions for the same. Now, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji has reacted to this and told the media that, “Before the fans were saying this, we were saying it ourselves. When we were shooting for the sequence in 2019, we were saying that on the sets as well. As we explored the scientist’s personality, we said, ‘Man, we have to do something. We have to tell the story of Scientist’s Origin!”
Ayan Mukerji also said that even his Brahmastra team did not want Shah Rukh Khan’s character to be confined to a cameo. “We were considering that as well, my assistant and I. So, I guess my reaction to the demand for a spin-off is, we’re already thinking about it. We’re hearing everything. and are planning their next steps.”
