Mumbai: The film has brought both challenges and fun for director Farhad Samji, who is preparing for Bachchan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. Looking at the well cut trailer and audience response on the same, the director expects the film to break records at the box-office.
Talking about his experience shooting for the film, Farhad said, The film Bachchan Pandey was a challenging, thrilling and a love experience. There is always excitement with every film so there was more to it as well. It is a thriller action comedy.
He said that his fourth collaboration with Akshay Kumar is a pleasure, I have had both fun and challenges as far as directing the film is concerned. I would like to say with great pleasure that this was my fourth film as a director with Akshay Kumar. We have a good working relationship and he also makes a good mentor. Also this is my 8th film with Nadiadwala grandson.
The director said, I am happy to see the impact of the trailer on the public and my well wishers. As you have seen in the trailer, I would say that every character he has played in the film has done justice to me.
He concluded that those whose tests are true have the best results. I just have one wish, there was no Bachchan Pandey in Housefull but Bachchan Pandey becomes Housefull.
