There is no dearth of lead characters in the show according to age: Pankit Thakkar

Mumbai: Actor Pankit Thakkar, who plays Chetan Rawal in the show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjhauta, admits that there is no dearth of lead characters in the show depending on the age.
He further added, with the advent of Indian content in the last few years, there is no dearth of characters for older actors. I don’t look at age to play roles because one must learn to adapt according to the way the role is played.
The actor further added, “I know I am not in that age group where I am playing the role of a 21 year old boy in a TV show. I think I was smart in the show and I have changed that with Tujhse Hai Raabta show.
Talking further, he spoke about the roles he wants to play. The actor has also worked in shows like Kabhi Soutan Kabhi Saheli, Dil Mil Gaye among others. He further added, “I want to be in a place where when people like to play older actors according to their age, I am one of those names.
The actor further added, “There are some stories which like to play only in OTT and I want to be a part of them. As an actor, I can completely mold myself into the character. That’s my strength.
