Los Angeles: Doctor Who star Yasmin Finney has shared that she hopes to become the first trans Bond girl since professing her love for the detective franchise.
The 18-year-old actress, who is starring in the new series of Doctor Who, said that she would love the opportunity as it has never been done before, reports DailyMail.co.uk.
He told the Daily Star Sunday, “I love James Bond movies. Every movie I’ve seen, I’ve always thought, I’d love to be the cool, sexy Bond girl.
Phinney said that, she was inspired by Caroline Cosey, who appeared as an extra in the 1981 Bond film For Your Eyes Only.
Before she was out as Trans in 1982, Cosey posed in the pages of Playboy promoting her appearance in the film, which also starred Roger Moore.
This comes after Finn said that playing a superhero in a blockbuster movie is one of his career ambitions and he already has some interest from Hollywood.
Speaking at the Attitude Pride Awards, she said, I would love to be a superhero. I don’t want to choose between Marvel and DC and limit my possibilities, but definitely want to be a superhero, like the first trans superhero.
